Through our extensive philanthropic work, we strive to make a positive impact in our community by supporting veterans, addressing food insecurity, providing for youth programs, aiding individuals with developmental disabilities, and contributing to trail building and maintenance.
Since 2020, ViM has partnered with the Midland YMCA to provide shoes for children in need. This initiative has grown to a $2,000 annual donation, supplying over 40 children with personalized new shoes. It’s a favorite event, celebrated each March with the children and their families.
ViM supports Mission Agape’s efforts to combat food insecurity in Midland and surrounding areas. Since 2022, ViM has contributed funds and volunteered time to pack "love boxes" and assist with projects like school supply drives and toy distributions.
Through events like the Veterans Gravel Grind, ViM has raised significant funds for the Trail Warrior Project, supporting veterans’ access to outdoor activities. In 2023, ViM donated $3,000, and in 2024, increased the amount to $5,000.
ViM contributes annually to Spectrum of Solutions, a Midland organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Since 2021, ViM has donated nearly $10,000 to support their wide-ranging programs.
ViM has supported the Odessa chapter of Meals on Wheels with $5,000 in donations since 2021, ensuring homebound individuals receive nutritious meals.
ViM also builds relationships through one-time donations, such as $2,000 to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in 2024, and actively participates in trail maintenance and community events whenever possible.
